PURPOSE:
The RCT creates a repeating cycle of ON/OFF control.  It does not require/use a people sensor.  The RCT operation is simply started by flipping its low voltage toggle switch to "on".

OPERATION: (ref: LARGE photo of RCT)
The RCT consists of two independent analog timers ( T1 & T2) wired so that T1 is the adjustable "ON" time of the AC socket, and T2 is its adjustable "OFF" time.  The repeat cycle process begins when the RCT is energized by turning ON  its 9-volt source of d.c. power.   With the unit energized,  and its A.C.  power cord plugged in, the unit's A.C. socket is powered whenever T1 (green LED lit) is timing.   During T2 (red LED lit), this socket is not powered.

Thus the RCT repeatedly turns 120 volt A.C. power on and off to any device/s plugged into its socket.  The RCT can control more than one A.C. device,  up to its maxium current capability, so multi-socket adaptors may be used to accomplish this.  The maximum current that may be switched is 10 amperes (resistive load only) which is the equivalent of 1200 watts of lighting.   Motors of up to 2 amps, running current, may also be switched by this unit.  If larger motor amperage is required,  contact us  about SPEC large motor control.  We can supply switching capabilities of up to a 3/4 horsepower motor for the RCT.

TIMING:
The standard RCT can have either/both of its two internal time intervals set from 0.1 sec up to a maximum of 140 seconds ( 2 mins 20 seconds).   Since it's an analog timer, time intervals can be adjusted to the nearest tenth of a second.

*Note: A fogger's wired remote must be modified  for use with our haunt timers.  The charge is  $ 14. (including parts, s/h fee) for this service (IF product is ordered at the same time).   Afterward your fogger's remote may either be automatically controlled by RCT or Flex ECT, Combo Flex ECT,   or manually  with its push button, as before.

The RCT circuit is operated from a 9-volt d.c. source, either a battery or our 9-volt Battery Eliminator .   The user  adjust the timing knobs T1 & T2 by watching the associated LEDs.  If necessary this can be accomplished down to the nearest tenth of a second and without A.C. power.    After desired timing is established with the knobs,  the RCT is plugged into AC power cord with the device/s to be cycled plugged into its AC socket.
