This minature circuit board produces a TRUE RANDOM flickering effect.  It works just as well with LEDs as with small (flashlight) filament bulbs.   Although it comes with a 9-volt battery snap - it can be powered by any source of direct current from 6 to 12 volts.  This board handles up to 1000 milliamps of current (enough to power 50 LEDs).    As seen better in the larger view, the wiring is extremely simple.  

If using a 9-volt battery, all you do is connect the LED/s or filament bulb/s to the two-wire "OUT" terminal block.  Obviously the size of this board and battery allows it to be located in the base of train lanterns and candelabras for SUPERB flame flicker illumination.
